Alexander Shulgin
According to his LA Time Obituary Biochemist Alexander Shulgin accidentally discovered one of the most famous and infamous party drugs of the 1980s. He synthesized a compound called MDMA in 1976 in his backyard laboratory and, as was his tradition, tried it out on himself.
2C-B is a hallucinogenic drug first synthesised by Alexander Shulgin in 1974. Its effects are considered to be somewhere between those of LSD and MDMA and vary greatly depending on the dose. 2C-B is available as powder, pills or capsules and is almost always taken orally due to how painful and intense it is to snort.

This is my favorite out of the 2c family. And is a popular psychedelic in the phenethylamine family. Provides empathic experiences at lower doses and strong visual and psychedelic experiences at higher doses. Commonly used as a party drug as it is more clear-headed than most psychedelics. 2C-B has been in use since the early 1990sResearch chemicals are drugs with relatively little history of human use, and thus particular care should be taken if choosing to ingest them.
